Departure EXW – Ex Works (named place) The seller makes the goods available at named premises. The buyer is responsible for all charges. This term may be the easiest to administer. There is no control over the final destination of the goods. Goods are not cleared for export and not loaded on any collecting vehicle. This term thus represents the minimum obligation for the seller, and the buyer has to bear all costs and risks involved in taking the goods from the seller's premises.
